Fuck for Drugs: The One-Dimensional Itch
Follow-up to Fuck For Love: The Two-Dimensional Itch.
Possibly the end of my experimentation with this style; or, at least, it's time to move forward. This hyperrealism style has a limit in its own banality--there's nowhere to go but down. Flat, flat, flatter.

CommentsThis is very surreal - the colors are great, and the imagery is wonderful. It's a varied mix that put together, speaks.
Good job!  -- What do I put here? O.O I agree, the surreal quality of this work captures the nonsense apparent in some dreams where things may seem unconnected by are definitely connected in a way that isn't immediately apparent.
I love the seamless blend of the human body with the head of the unicorn. -- "A work of art which did not begin in emotion is not art." ~ Paul Cézanne Fuck yeah. Way to break the regular sights on DA. I like seeing styles that have taken a backseat in the "popular arts". The horse blends really well with the body, and the placement of the text aligning with the back of the mane was a nice touch. Not sure if what the text says relates to the horse(wo)men (excuse my ignorance), but it seems like something you would see in a land of wishes. Something strange and out of place, just as out of place as wishes being granted.
 -- The approval rating is high. So, someones gonna die! I need to add a few things lol sorry.
One thing that kind of distracts me are the bugs on the right side. They may represent something, so i may be out of line, but they take up space that may benefit from a bit of freedom. That way the horse wouldn't be so crowded on the right side. Anyway, these piece is the first in my "rare styles" collection. Just styles i don't personally see much. So, yeah. Go you. -- The approval rating is high. So, someones gonna die! The only problem I had is that the middle bug looks more like a date than a roach due to the distortion, however, this makes it look like stages of devolution with a photorealistic roach becoming more cubist with the final stage being what looks like a disintegration of form at the top while, on the left, butterflies are shown succeeding where this roach had failed. So it all works out to me.
The horned lass seems to me like a personification of the woman rights movement bearing a mock phallus on the forehead and anchors everything nicely. In all, I found the work to be quite the soothing treat. yes, awesome!
